kethrai's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Redneck Alchemiste Redux--Happy Fourth! So I have been keeping an eye on our neighbor one-over, just in case the Faithful Non-Scheduled Reader is interested in his antics. It's been suspiciously quiet for a while--at least during the week, for weekends I am travelling to faire again. A few of the cars have changed places in his crowded yard--the odd banging and swearing emerges.... Although one does wonder. Specifically, one wonders where he obtained professional grade fireworks to celebrate the Fourth of July, and also, why he thought firing them off in a yard overhung with trees, about twenty-foot by twenty-foot, with his alembic chimney towering majestically overhead, and one also wonders what exactly he was drinking that his aim was so far off that one hit the alembic rusted-out towering pole so hard that the thing rang with an ALMIGHTY BONG like the WRATH OF THE HEAVENS COMING........ ah yes, dear Non-Scheduled Reader, these thoughts do occur to mind when one is idly hanging out on my back porch. 7:11 a.m. - 2005-07-06 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
